Already been over there and signed up. Looks like a decent idea but I'd hate to be the administrator over a site like that. Can you imagine being in the middle of a bad deal? An administrator over something like that becomes not only a moderator over the site but almost as a business mediator as well. Yikes!!!

Yeah use paypal so you have at least some protection if anything goes wrong. I make sure with my ebay buys to always take pics of the boxes when I open them too but thats mainly cos I once bought a brick in a phone box, lol |

Wanted to ask Les (Stitchdup) about shipping costs ? Have you bought anything from there yet ?
Do they post to UK ? I'm assuming most sellers are from USA ?
Any ideas mate ?

Would like to see a site like this work. I always shop my local hobby shop first but use eBay as a source for older kits of interest etc. eBay themselves has gotten so out of control and “gouging” that I get angered every time I look, see and want something. How does eBay get off charging 10% on shipping costs when they don’t do “jacksh_t”.....  It really comes down to fairness, honesty between fellow modelers... I just joined and see a few kits I am interested in. I am anxious to see how it goes.... |
