Started at 8pm last night and finished at 2am. Its a snap kit but has some really good detail. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it actually is but the aim was a 12 hour build and i did it in 6 apart from the rear lights and front indicators as I didn't take my clear colours with me so will do them tonight and I'll do the side trim with silver sharpie as it doesn't like sticky paint. The only mode are the slam job and I removed the trim from the passenger door. I'll put the mirrors on when I take it home so they dont fall off. Being a snap kit the lowering was done by removing the lower suspension part and drilling a new hole for the wire axle which I bent to give the aircooled stance. There will be more pics tomorrow

Cheers guys, it would probably have taken longer if it wasn't a snap kit. I'll get a pic of how the back was lowered tonight so you can see how much I cheated. I've selected a london taxi for tonight and will be taking a saw to it

Cheers guys, yes mark the wheels are empis, the kit has a few options and to be honest I only bought it for the radar wheels after seeing them on nyratrods snail camper. For a snap kit its really nicely done. Mu taxi I started last night didn't get very far due to the weather, its hard to build when your seat keeps sliding across the floor. Just glad I was tied up at the pier and not out at sea cos it was bad enough. I only got it slammed and the roof cut off before the weather hit so hopefully it wont be so bad tonight

Great job on the weathering Les. There's not much underneath so your gonna have to show us your lowering technique. Well Done !!!! The front I just mounted on the upper pin and cut off the bottom one and cut down the top one so the wheels would tuck. The rear I left off the exhaust and lower engine plate, filed out the hole for the wire axle and cut the inside edges off the tyres so they would go into that gap between the seats and body as the arches were pretty small inside. To get the camber I just bent the axle so when its picked up the back ends droops down. Its avery half a'd lowering really but its a curbside and looks the parts so I'm ok with that. This one will also be in my dio when it gets done. I fi have time before work I'll get some pics to show how slap dash it is
