Just got back into some more consistent modeling after my baseball season ended. I finished this in early November. 1/48 Scale Hasegawa kit. Aires resin cockpit, wheel bays, and exhausts. Painted with Model Master enamels, some lacquers and acrylics as well. A preshade was used prior to painting. SuperScale decals of the famed "Black Knights" squadron.

Thanks, and Joe, it is good to be back on my creative side. It usually happens more in the winter months. To answer your question; I used canned tamiya primer and followed that up with pre-shading of the panel lines before carefully painting the panels from the inside out. The key is to not apply to much paint at once. I am not a big fan of post-shading as I think it creates too much unreal contrast. Looks artistic but not realistic.
