I do agree about the stance, but I understand if you want to move on to the next bit.
Carry on sir....

Well I'd hope to be updating everyone on my progress, but unfortunately there hasn't been any, I've run into a problem getting the body to fit squarely with the interior installed. It originally started with the mini tub cuts but now it won't sit square in the front. I've cut, and fitted this thing no less than 20 times but the one side won't come down no matter the change. In the meantime I broke the vent window, and knocked off the blower idler with all the chassis removals and reinstalls.
I was determined that I would fix it today but after four refits just today I'm no farther along than I was this morning. I've got one more thing to try and if that doesn't work I may have to rework the interior floor and side panels, which means I won't make the deadline because that's something I've never done before.

Had this happen many times mate, try and locate what is causing the issue, usually it is something around the interior tub, you can trim or file the top corner off the interior tub right up front where it isn't seen, it will probaby be touching the bottom of the window frame, or fire wall, as the dash will cover it. Start there mate. As for the window frame, lose both of them, it looks pretty smart and modern, you will just need to remove the old q-vent frame work a little, smooth it right out. Those are the EASY ways of fixing it mate, not necessarily the Correct way, but who cares, as long as it gets finished, you have 2 more months.

Thanks for the info guys. I did wind up doing more grinding to the bottom of the offending panel, as well as the floor pan. Here are the update pics. Now its on to the bodywork, and some paint!

Thanks. I've given up on too many builds when the going got tough. I was determined not to have that happen this time.

That stance looks great Dennis. Glad you were able to overcome the fit difficulties. I had a problem with mine (Revell 69 Charger--both kits are pretty much the same) fitting at the rear of the interior tub and ended up removing some of the rear two corners of the interior tub and sanding as well as sanding away some of the inside of the rear fenders to get mine to fit.
In any case this whole build is nothing short of evil looking!!! I think you're getting the results you set out to with this one.

I was close to finishing my build when I had a slight missstep.
While clearing it, I bumped the spray hood and left a hairline scratch on the fender. I'll let it cure, do some light sanding and hit it with the base coat again. Then I'll hit it again with light clear and then wet coats. I'm also including a photo of the interior with the shifter in it, which the previous pic of the interior didn't have. About the color, it was supposed to be black cherry but it turned out to be a dark bronze, almost the color of the box art. I think it was because I used a dark gray primer. Anyway, I'm going with it. Thanks for looking and your comments.

Thanks for the feedback guys, its much appreciated. Well, I got clear on the thing and polished it up and discovered that I prob should have color sanded the basecoat. In the pic below there are areas where I sanded through the clear and down to the primer. It's even worse on the body. I wet sanded the body and knocked down any roughness and now I'll go back with the basecoat and try to salvage things. I truly suck at airbrushing by the way. Anyway, the red in the color is more evident after clearing. I took a pic of the hood outside before I roughed it up for another spray. I went several light coats of the clear per the instructions last time but this time I may go a little heavier.
Thanks for looking, and your comments.

I finally got the paint sorted! The cherry shows more now with clear and a good polishing. I'll be adding black BMF around the windows and painting the grille black. The mirrors and gas cap are also black. I'm done for today and i still have to clean the polish from the panel lines but wanted to show some progress before February says goodbye. At least here in the States anyway.
