Well, this was one of the biggest builds i have done in a long time, pretty well everything was customized, or scratch built. Engine is a 426 Hemi with Twin Turbo's... BIG turbo's  , all the headers, exhaust and intake was scratch built, Mini tubed, to accommodate big custom made wheels, using the original kit centres, and a fabricated 4-link rear end. Also made the rear wing, front spoiler, molded on a hood scoop and covered the factory fuel tank, and added some diffuses to go with the "look" i was after. Interior has had the rear seats recessed, to make 2 x buckets, and some thread added for piping on the seats and door trims, carpet and also made a hood lining. Paint is a mix of Dupli-color GINGER ALE and MARTINI GREY, which was painted 3 times to get the SATIN look i was after.     ![]()        |

Beautiful work mate. It all flows together really nicely and if you didn't know you'd think it could have came that way Thanks mate, that is what i was aiming for.... subtle, tough, but would not stand out too much in traffic . And thanks Leon |

Even the spiders have come for a look!! There is simply nothing not to like on this or a fault to be found - maybe rides a touch high!  rolling |

There is simply nothing not to like on this or a fault to be found - maybe rides a touch high!  rolling Thanks mate, mainly, i didn't want an "in ya face" paint job to over power the build, and yes, those turbo's would whistle so loud there would be dogs coming from all directions...  As for the spider.... only noticed him with his camera after i posted the pics up. I wasn't going to say it, but i thought the rear was actually a tad low.... nothing wanted to fit between the car and the ground. Thanks too Dennis.. |

Turned out real nice mate. Super subtle, but tough enough so you know it means business. I think the turbos are a little small though.. rolling

Ye Gods but that's a beast! You're right about subtle colouring being needed to de-emphasize just how tough it looks, that's a trick a lot of people would have missed. I'm not subtle, I'm wondering if the custom grill and tail light from the old MPC '67 Charger would fit one of those...

How did I miss this? I remember commenting on the WIP, but somehow missed the finished pics.
You bossed it once again. The engine compartment shot is awesome.
