Thankyou guys ! Had a bit of time to play with the LowLife-Bilt today, made up new front suspension arms, as id cut off all the old leaf spring set-up ! Its enough to hold the front end in position anyway, they are pinned in place for now, and the front axle sits on the sump on full drop ! I actually had to raise it a teeny amount, i made up the diesel tanks and it lifted the front wheels off the ground slightly ! ! Made up the Z`ed chassis rails from scrap plastic, adding around 1.5 inches to the length, 2 was a little much ! For strength theres a sheet across the top and theres plates behind each join too ! If i can smooth the chassis without snapping it i should be close to getting it painted next. Still playing with front air bags etc but once theres a chassis on wheels things should move forward a bit quicker !

Chassis is coming along, just painted and mocked up and the oil filter is in the way of the front tie rod... Forgot i had to lenghten the prop shaft too, so a waste of time painting that ! Im getting old and forgetful ..... Anyways its progress, trying to keep it clean and tidy, should start adding lots of chrome bits soon..... two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

Before you get too far. From what I can see on your mock up, is that you are missing a link on your front suspension. You will need one of these three links. The red, blue, or orange. Without one of these, your front suspension will rotate around the green bushing and fall down. The red would be easiest to do at this time as it is attached to your white link and doesn't need a new chassis bushing.

Thanks guys...
And wisdonm, thanks for the idea, much appreciated ! The front is not attached, as I'm adding air bags... Somewhere ? Was thinking of adding a triangular shape tube, just in from where you marked the orange line, and adding bags underneath the radiator. This should hold the axle straight ! But it's still undecided, so thanks for the tip, there's springs front and back to add too !
Will be getting more done soon, just been busy lately !

DAMN time is running out ! icon_clockwatch_zpsxnglspgq Just got back on this, heres where the chassis is... Bit of gold plating going on, well it is a show truck ! Radiator was a mess, didnt line up, so i rebuilt the surround in chrome plastic ! Added the tanks etc and started on the interior ! Instructions say it should be matt black, so i went with that....
