Your right about the color Les! I like the color but i'm thinking of stripping it and spray on a white base coat and then the pearl light blue.

I would probably leave it as it is mate, once you get it in the sun the real colour will show and really make it pop

I dunno about stripping that paint job Leon. A good BMF job and gloss coat will set that baby totally off.

Thank you Dale! It did look good! No matter how i held under light or shade it still looked silver to me.I think the mistake i made was using silver for the under coat. The next time i'll use white and it should look a lot better.

Well fellas,i got the body and hood stripped and washed yesterday.Put primer last night before i hit the sack.Took them to work today and sprayed on the last of the Mice blue i had.Came home and put on one coat of gloss and the second coat goes on in about 3 hours.I used something totally different this time.I used a gloss used by artist to seal their paintings. It's called Liquitex gloss varnish and comes in a bottle and it's as thin as skim milk.I brushed it on with a one inch brush to avoid brush marks. So far it looks really good.I'll test it through my airbrush and see how it sprays for future use.
