My name is Tom, at least that is what I prefer to be called, LOL
I like to build funny cars, race cars, muscle cars, and the like. I am also thinking to dabble into an airplane or 3, (just the ones I worked on while in the US Air Force back in the 80's).
I have loved building models since I was a kid, but like many, it went to the way side as family demands increased.
But now, enter the 50's, kids are grown and on their own, popping out grandkids like weeds in a tomato garden!
So the building has come back, and in full force. Learning more and more as I go, hopefully to one day become a good custom builder.
Right now, I pretty much stick to box stock as a rule, maybe swap out rime and tires, wiring the engines, etc. Just some small stuff.
We love taking our Camaro to car shows, and we are also avid volunteers for many people, reasons and causes.\
I am a scorpio, and like talking long walks on the beach and watching the sunset - ER - that should not be here - HAHAHA!
Life is good - but when you finish a build, life is great!
