It is a really nice blue! I painted my '73 Bronco with that color and even with the Bronco on the shelf and the Transit in the paint booth, they look different until I bring next to each other, then they look the same!

I finally decided to pull the tape off the Transit after another painting session and did a mockup with the chassis. I still need to add decals and paint some trim.  The side doors came out fairly well. Some cleanup and installation.  The rear door doesn't like me as I had issues paint it. Some cleanup and polishing should make it look better.  More to come... |

Thanks leon,but it was not one of my better jobs. I had some bleed-through here and there. Nothing I can't clean up. I think the decals could cover some spots up, but I'll end up removing them anyway.

More progress on the Ford Transit this afternoon. I got the body mounted to the chassis and installed the grille and bumpers. I need to clean up the windshield trim after I had messed it up earlier.   The front doors are complete. Now I have to install them which might be a bit tricky.  More to come... |

Thank you Mark! I installed the doors earlier this evening and the passenger door didn't want to close. The door hinge was hitting the end of the dash panel and I was about to take out the Dremel and a grinding bit until I looked at the dash and the tab was out of the slot inside of the body. I used a screwdriver and tab back into the slot and now the door closes like it should.
