I like the wisp coming from the hot coffee.
I used to keep a small whisk broom to whisk out the dried mud from my boots and from the pedal area.

Thanks guys tbh not happy with it (I love kit chrome) but you get the obvious probs with seams ( don't go there with all the chrome treatments, they are either to fragile for my liking or not realistic) I love kit chrome so am stuck with the limitations of such (which is why I've made no attempt to fix the fuel tanks) don't no one mention alclad (talk about crap finish if you so much as brush a bit of tissue at it, it comes off, you can't coat it with clear without ruining the finish)(and it's sooo expensive)

If you can find it, fingernail polish in chrome isn't too bad a match for kit chrome for touching up where you cut it off the sprue. Chromebrite paint from the autoshop isn't to bad either. It's what use use when your want your steel truck rims to look like alloy in 1:1 scale. On a truck this weathered, the tanks would have dulled down for sure to a dull silver so Humbrol type aluminium paint would be a reasonable substitute. All that said, this is coming along nicely. A light airbrushed coat of road spray may help you get the desired finish on the tanks?

Your progress on this truck is looking good Ken. I'm going to bring a photo shot or two of the frame up and ask how you weathered the base frame to give it that worn black look as I see here: and here:

It's just pastels. I flood the area first with water (with a drop of washing up liquid in to stop it bobbeling) then whilst it's wet I sand a pastel stick over it (and I mean loads of it so that it all piles up) when it dries I blow it off then in a few places I add ABT's engine grease.
