Needed a bit of a change so pulled this one out to do while I finish off the 37 ford. Started gluing the two body halves together with super glue and ran a thin strip of evergreen to avoid it from splitting open. Once dried removed the the section of the body that covers the trans and now have made it removable. Glued the front lower section to the rest of the body and also braced it with styrene this way I can paint the whole body in one piece than separate then gluing the parts together which always leaves a seam. Painted everything with duplicolor gray primer then a few coats of polaris white duplicolor rattle can paint. There are so many pics of this car with so many different decals I decided on using the kits supplied ones with the exception of leaving the dodge after the ramchargers as only have seen on pic with it on. Touched up all the ends of the decals where they fold over with some decanted blaze red duplicolor and a paint brush. Made a start on the engine and have sprayed the blower with tamiya flat clear to tone it down. With the scoop have taken the smallest hole punch and have punched out some evergreen and have added some half round styrene to simulate a 1:1 scoop, will added pics of those once paint is dry. Rear rims are the kit ones stripped of their chrome and painted tamiya light machine gray with a coat of tamiya flat clear coat and wheel nuts done in molotow liquid chrome pen. Have to have a look in the parts box to see if I can find a set of goodyear blue streaks for it as I have only seen them running goodyears not the mh racemasters as supplied in the kit. Cheers and thanks for looking
