This is one of the Christmas presents i bought myself.Started this past weekend and progress so far.Engine is finished and wired,chassis is done and sprayed the body and hood Lavender.Next up is getting the interior painted.I went with the lowered stance and not the stock one.The body is just test fit so i could see what the stance looked like.I'm liking how it looks. I need your input.I'm thinking about painting the wheels Gold.What do you think? Looking good so far Leon.I would keep the wheels chrome if your doing a street machine.But if your going for the lowrider look you could go with the gold.

Thank you Mike! I'm going for the low rider look and that's why i went with the smaller white wall tires and lowered it.I think the gold would look good against the body color.

Looks great so far, but please don't paint the wheels gold. It'll look like a Violet Crumble. (Chocolate bar here in Australia with a purple and gold wrapper.)

Nice colour choice mate, if your going for gold wheels you might need to do some of the trim gold (not all of it though) or add some gold pin stripes maybe to tie it all together

That looks cool mate, love that color, but i would be a NO on the gold wheels,
they look great as they are, gold is pretty tacky IMO.

Glad u didn't go with the painted gold wheels, but how about lowrider wires ?
Being smaller it would lower the car, you can buy decent Pegasus versions in gold too, which would look cool ! Revell wires from any of the lowrider kits are decent too !

Lookin' really swell so far Leon. I've gotten to where I really like these "W" motors. Get that seam line on the radiator cap pal.

WOW!! That’s one good lookin interior Leon. I did notice some ejector pin marks in the rear floorboards but those can be covered up with a set of floor mats. I had the same exact thing with my El Camino.

Thank you Dale! I decided to paint the dash in the body color.My original plan was an all white interior but decided to go with the tan and white.
