FIRST : i paint the whole car gold, then lay down the pinstripes. Mask up everything on the outside of these lines, then just add wet paint, dab with scrunched up glad wrap. Do one section at a time though, as i use Acrylic, it dries fast. THEN, mask off what you have done and paint the rest of the car red. LOTS of clear is required, in many cotes to get rid of the lines and get the scrunched areas smooth. Lightly block the clear between cotes, but not heavy enough to rub through to the color though.
