I'm building this for my sister's christmas present. It's the same plane she did her wingwalk on earlier this year. So far I've built up the inner cage and sprayed it with yellow so hopefully the overspray wont show up too much. I plan on going back and dry brushing the seats and a few parts of the interior after the rest is sprayed. I have to say that in a lot of ways building aircraft seems like you have to work backwards a lot of the time. I sprayed the engine gold as the only silver i have has a very heavy flake, but again there will be a load of drybrushing to bring out the detail that it shouldn't matter too much what the base colour was.
