Wicked looking ride, Leon! You can always go back and add decals when you come across something sufficiently wild. You might wish to consider a very dilute black wash over the grille. I don't know what formulation "Future" has now in your part of the world (it changed in the UK and is useless now) but the old stuff was the business: just a few drops of (black) ink in an eye dropper bottle of the stuff worked well. It went into recesses well without staying on the raised chrome areas and making then dull, unlike some pre-mixed washes.

Try a jar of tamiya light smoke mate, it's the business for giving chrome a wash

Nice finish, Leon. I had a 1980 Volare (I think it was 80') with a slant six motor, bench seat. I liked the car and those slant six motors...couldn't kill them.
