Wow! I can see why it won, everything has differing textures like the real thing would. How did you dirty up the glass? All my attempts look wrong but yours looks right Also is it a print magazine and if so where would we get it?

Thanks guys.
Les, it’ll be a print magazine coming in January I believe. Right now they only have a FB page. I’ll keep you guys posted as I hear more info.

Fantastic job on the Monte Ice, some incredible details throughout ! icon_shoutout_zpsg7nrfmdc
Be cool to see you continue with the restoration, maybe all grey primer next ! Magazine sounds interesting, but then anything involving lowriders gets my attention !

Superb work! Was it built from the "Fast & Feckless" boxing? I picked one up cheap to do the movie car but there's a LOT different to what you get in the kit, so more likely to end up a "Mad Max" type build, the "Monte Carnage"... (Inspired by Ron Griffith's Monster Carlo www.wastelandweekend.com/monster-carlo/ )

Applied it with a makeup sponge then with a brush.

Thanks. I think the F&F boxing started as the Lowrider and they threw in extra bits (seats, wheels, etc - the wrong ones!); I can't get a stock build out of it, so I can't use it to upgrade the '70 Chevelle and I don't think I fancy a Chevelle Lowrider...

M

Here is a closeup of the wheels. I designed these in true 13s based on 72 spoke Daytons.

Those rims look awesome mate, will you be doing the tyres seperately? I think they'd fit my golf kits better than current aftermarket tyres. With my scirocco finding stretch wall tyres small enough was a fight until i warmed the kit tyres and forced them on

With my scirocco finding stretch wall tyres small enough was a fight until i warmed the kit tyres and forced them on I’m working on that. That’s been my biggest challenge so far. This here is 3 parts. Tire, whitewall and wheel. Have you looked at Streetblisters tires. They used to sell their tires with wheels and seemed small enough. I think they have a website now.
