Been working on this one for a while now and recently finished the body and dog dish wheels from Fireball Models. Paint is from Scalefinishes. The vinyl top (my first) is textured paint with masking tape seams after lower rear moldings were added with styrene. The hub caps were coated with a Molotow marker and valve stems were added.

Coming along. I have finished the Hemi engine and the interior...more chrome foil ugh. Also got them mated to the chassis. I added alot of wiring and plumbing to the engine and firewall. I am very impressed with the level of detail on this kit. Alternator bracket, coil, steering box and column. Great firewall detail, separate door handles, etc etc. I hope the sale of Revell doesn't stunt their recent progress with regards to quality.

Looking Fantastic. Super neat engine. I don't think the Revell sale will effect quality and detail...infact I think with Revell Germany owning Revell US now, we may see further advances in detail.

Wow, that engine is a work of art on its own. I wouldn't worry about revell too much, the germans are great engineers (you wouldn't have got to the moon without them)

Thanks everyone. I usually do some sort of carpet on my interiors but I chose to not do that on this one as it had some texture to it already and with hardtops one can't really see anyway. The next update will probably be the finished product. I am in the process of installing the wheels and tires which is a little challenging considering there are no inner wheels included with the resin wheels and non used in the kit. Depth and ride height have to be adjusted with only epoxy used to attach them. No easier way to do it that I can see. I will succeed nonetheless.

That does suck about the wheel backs not having any locators. I ran into that on my El Camino that I'm building and I had to use epoxy as well.
