Built this one when the kit was first released and came out looking good but over the year some of the decals where a little worse for wear as back then never used clear coat. The worse decal was the black belt line decal that went to the top of the guards. As I didnt have any replacements only choice was to spray which I have done in ebony black but all the yellow is the original paintwork. Bmf the trim work instead of the original chrome hand brushed job, have given it a clear coat and a quick polish up as I dont want it to detract from my original build. Cleaned up the interior of any dust and was able to get some flocking on the floor. One thing I wasnt happy about the original build was the lack of detail I had on the motor so am stripping the motor for a rebuild, then it will be ready reassemble. Cheers and thanks for looking

Looking good Steve, i also look back at older builds and think... what if i did that?. then give it a rebuild or freshen up, they look better in the display case that way.

Nice work so far Steve. I really like working with these A9990 engines as there's so much detail to show off on the intake. Looking forward to seeing what you do here.
