My local model shop just shut...  I buy all my kits online, but now looks like I'm gonna have to order plastic card, tubes, paint, and glue etc online too... Also I m still having trouble finding things like pre wired distributors.... Any ideas guys ? I've used Hiroboy before, these guys are ok but don't seem to have much stock, any ideas ? Thanks !  |

Plastic card - kitformservices.com mostly model truck stuff but their scratchbuilding supplies seem a fair price.
just ordered from this place, modelkars.uk some resin and pre wired distributers
ebay pre wired distributers and occaisional junk lots
amazon for flocking fillers and glues
creativemodels.com a varied selection of everything - make sure to check the damaged boxes section and weekly offers too
car parts places for paint
jawel paints for house of kolor in spray cans
poundland - cheap detailing brushed in the nail varnish section 6 decent small brushes for a quid and their superglue in the yellow boxes is good
also try architectural supplies for plastic card and stuff, sometimes its cheaper
any decent ironmonger should have selection packs of small tap washers that make convinving air bags.
also 1999.jp and hlj.com ship worldwide and the prices work out similar to buying local (jap kits only, the us ones are 50 quid)
I'm sure I have more places

I use hiroboy for my paint as only place I found zero paint and eBay for some bits . Stitch I can never find flocking on amazon UK got my last lot from hiroboy some times you can find bits on Facebook selling

I have some bulk loads on the way to me that I plan on selling, and if there is particular shades you want I can do colour matched too. |

I'm impressed with modelkars service. They didn't have both sets of the wheels i ordered so emailed and offered another set instead, then refunded some of the postage as it was much lower than I paid.
