Thanks, I know it kind of kills me to do it, but I just don't drive it as much as I used to. I also need to free up my garage for the winter so I can park the Lexus.

Yep, it is an original motor. Got the big heads. (Same heads they bolted to a 302 on the BOSS).

Yep, it is an original motor. Got the big heads. (Same heads they bolted to a 302 on the BOSS). Man......those things are screamers! I had a buddy that had a 67 Fastback originally equipped with a 289 4bbl with a 4spd and I helped him put a 351 Cleveland with those 4 barrel heads on it in it. If memory serves me correctly, It had a weird powerband that came in around 2500rpm but ended somewhere around the 7500 rpm mark. The original gearing was around 3.23's I believe but once he got the 4:10's put in it that thing was a rocket!!
What's the redline on this one?

Just thought I would post a bit of an update on my revolving rides:
First I ended up selling the 1970 Mustang in May of 2019 to a chap in Canada. A month later I landed this:
1990 Corvette ZR-1, 1260 Original Miles. Note the dealer plastic on the door sills. I bought this as an investment and sold it in June of this year to a dealer in Florida who had a client in Germany for a collection.
I then traded the Lexus for a 2019 Mazda CX9 Signature Edition.......don't ask. It was something to do with practicality and the Corvette. I hated doing it initially but it all worked out.
So, I returned to my roots and bought this off of the same dealer's lot in Florida:
2013 Shelby GT500 Mustang. 7k original miles. 630hp at the wheels 620ftlbs. 6 speed, 0-60 in 3.5sec, 200+ top speed. Super Snake Hood and Shelby forged rims. She is a beast and beautiful with candy red paint. I think I will keep this for a while.
