OK, this one was a long time build that spanned two years, I did the body work and yellow paint and put it aside to dry ... yeah 18 months later I dug it out and finished it off.
I followed the '70 Roadrunner colour package rolled in with a Dodge Bumble bee stripe on the boot (trunk for you US brothers
) and added the '70 style side scoops in the rear quarters.
I cannibalized the rather ordinary AMT '09 Challenger kit for the interior, the wheels are Pegasus and the engine is dressed up with 'ThePartsBox' resin parts ... valve covers, blower, intake scoop. Lord know where the pulleys are from but the ribbed belt is from a scraped bubble jet printer.
The headers are made from solid lead solder, the collectors are turned on the lathe and shaped and the exhaust pipes are 2.4mm aluminium welding rod, and the 4 link rear end was scratch made as well.
Oh and what I didn't say was this was a rebuild from an original build I did ... 20+ years ago.
Ok pic time ....
Despite what the photos look like it does have lenses in the headlights, I just went a bit crazy with the polishing them.
