Started out with these two kits and a Pro Street vision between the two.
I've always had an eye for Revell's "Street Demons" series back in 1983 but I don't really care for the gasser look that a few of 'em had...……..this one in particular. In staying with the theme I set out to change things up a little bit in the way of a slight color change up, stance, powertrain and interior.
Powertrain : Came from the Revell 1968 Hemi Dart kit with upgrades to the ignition, fuel and throttle linkage systems.
Wheels: From Future Attractions. I had my machine shop at work cut the rear wheels in half due to the fact that they were just too dang wide to use with the tires I had.
Paint: Testors Icy Blue Lacquer, Testors White Lightning Lacquer and Testors Wet Look Clear all decanted and shot through an airbrush.
Decals: Speedway Decals
Additional Interior Shots:

Just noticed Joe, super nice job on the windscreen instead of the thick screen with the molding, think it makes all the difference to the build

Just noticed Joe, super nice job on the windscreen instead of the thick screen with the molding, think it makes all the difference to the build Thanks Steve. Ya know......I installed it but it just didn't look right. I traced the outline of the window onto some thin clear Evergreen sheet with a Sharpie and cut it out. Worked perfectly and didn't look as "clunky" as the OOB part.

Man this looks great Joe!!!Awesome job bud!!! Where did you get the distributor? Thanks Mike! The distributor is the OOB part in the Revell Hemi Dart engine. Just drilled the holes in it and worked the magic with the wires and boots.

Just found this. This must be the Demon that was mentioned over at SA? I was wondering what people were talking about. This is next level, top drawer work. Fantastic. Inspiring. Wow. Good grief, etc etc....

It was about a year ago and you were working on the panel gasser and the gas station. I remember people saying "this is great Joe, but I hope you get back on the demon build etc.". I wasn't sure what they were talking about. Perhaps it was this car?

You certainly went all out on this one Joe, Stunning build mate well done ! icon_shoutout_zpsg7nrfmdc Thought I would reply to Martin's post here as it seems that I never got around to it........and......I thought I'd bump it back up to the top after seeing Bob's ( Zippi) and Dale's ( DeeCee) Willy's builds. You can never have enough Willy's rods on the roster ya know.

Just a killer looking 41 Willy's. Great detail work. Nicely done. Thanks Bob! I had a pretty fun time putting this one together. I had built up the original Street Demons gasser 41 Willys when I was a kid and while that was an absolutely terrible kit I still had fun with that one. I think I must've revamped that original SD kit 3 or 4 times. lol
