Another one from the archives of childhood building. This one didn't fare as well as some of my other builds and was one of the last few that I took from my parents house due to its poor condition but I figured that I'd get around to giving it a cosmetic boost at some point. I just bought the newly re-released kit just this last Friday in which to touch this one up and bring it back to a presentable life.
You guys know the one:
Here's the ol' gal here and will be on the bench in the coming year for a repair session. I built this when I was around 13/14 so view it as a teenager built it because that's what happened...lol

I kinda like it, the black suits it and the only real change I'd make is to tuck the rear suspension up a bit, I would keep the reshaped arches too

Thanks Les. This'll be one of two mini resto's that I've done so far when I make it through the OOB Beetle Bus build that I'm working on along side of my Beetle Bus XL project. The other one was my 37 Chevy Gasser that I finished up last year. I'm looking forward to turning this build from it's current state into something that'll at least fall in line with the gasser.
