I saw curled solder and thought turbo. If you are still having trouble with the exhaust, you could take it straight up. Like what Mad Mike did in his mx5 drift car. thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon

You've got a set of eyes on you mate, that was way over the back in 1 pic. cant-believe-my-eyes-smiley-emoticon  I think i got it sorted, but i need to fit the engine permanently first, then going to make them from small solder, hopefully tonight.  |

A small update, i have painted this 3 times now, the first time, when it dried, it was pink.... due to the red plastic. So i blocked it back a little bit, and re did the white,... all good, so i cleared it, then the clear went pinkish...  So, tonight i have added more white, and a light clear cote.... fingers crossed i might be able to get the black done over the week-end as it's just too darn cold out in the shed at the moment...   |

I thought this just happened to me lol! Had the same trouble with a Ford Louisville Aeromax, drove me nuts. We all have troubles with paint mate.... it's just how we deal with it, as to how big the problem is, so many people dunk it, but i use what is there as a base and just go again.. |

Looking good, white is a bit plain for you tho isnt it !?! Are you thinking of adding graphics, advert stickers etc ?

I hate to hear about your paint blues Dale and know how frustrating that gets. Hopefully it'll work out for you this time. I do wish I had the "too cold" issue to deal with. I'm stuck here in "Hillbilly Hell" down here in Corpus where the temperatures are already in the high 90's every single day.  |

WELL! After some serious problems with paint on this one, i finally got it sort of done.... i ended up painting the frares by hand, as masking the opposite curve was near impossible to get tight and right. I made a firewall, and the engine is in, and fabricated some headers from solder.   |

Coming together very nicely indeed. Wasn't sold on the colours but it is looking very crisp.
