I'm still searching for a paint that gives a realistic chrome/polished aluminium finish. I might have to try Chromebrite and see how it goes. Until then, I'm back to using Alclad which does give the finish I want (or close to it) but find it isn't hard wearing. Apparently there is a clear for it but the shop where the Alclad comes from doesn't stock it?? Anyone have any suggestions as to what might work without dulling the finish. Although I don't get a mirror finish, Tamiya clear and floor polish both take the shine away. Automotive/Duplicolour acrylic clear maybe?
