It's been a few weeks since i sat at my desk and did anything, but today i made a start on the Foose F-100.  And got the engine pretty much done, am not going the super detailed etc, just a tidy build to get back in the groove..   More tomorrow....  |

OK Joe, Joel and Deano, i hope i don't disappoint ..... I finished up the chassis today. Everything is pretty basic as per instructions. But now is the challenge, to make it different..    |

Thanks Bruce, Leon and Mike. I have changed my mind 3 times now on the body color, i was going with Orange all round, but then i walked past my collection, I've already done that...  So, now the orange will be an accent color to go with..... thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon ? ? ? oh_jeez-1018_zpskf8ctjic ? ? ? thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon Looks like it will be a surprise for all of us..  |

A nice shade of tan or a cream color would look great with orange...just my 2 cents

A nice shade of tan or a cream color would look great with orange...just my 2 cents Was looking at cream Mike, got one cote down, and it really didn't work for me, so i have gone with Duplicolor MARTINI GREY, it is actually a greenish grey, a little different, pics a bit later guys. |

WELL,.... Here is the color, it is Dupli-color MARTINI GREY, which is a greenish silver/grey. I have not put clear over it, it is carefully put on a little dryer than usual as i don't want a gloss finish. I really like the satin look with this color.  And after a few hours of stitching over a darker version of the silver/grey, i have some contrast with the interior .  |

But , paint is my favorite part of a build, some people are real good at detailing, i prefer the paint side of things.. And thanks Deano and Leon.. Well, another good day at the bench, almost done, into final assembly.   |

I think the thing I liked most about this kit is that it pretty much puts itself together and it assembles up well ..............and strong. just don't put the dang cab down on the chassis first and then try to put the cab on like the instructions say. Fit the cab up into the body and glue it there.
Another point about this kit. Watch the hood fit. It will fit perfectly with no core support in it. Once the core support is in place the fenders are pulled together just enough for the hood to have a fit problem. Be sure to test fit with the core support glued into place. |

Looking real sweet Dale, interior looking real cool dont think I would have the patience to do all that thread work. Very nice choice on color combo and glad you went with a satin color rather than the usual satin black
