Yep , looks awesome ... I'm way jealous too and you don't have to run fenders there, here in South Oz we must run fenders on our rods .. cycle fenders it is! Nice ride Mike. two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

Hi guys,I did a few changes on my 31 roadster this past winter.A good friend gave me a set of rebuilt 70 Corvette 202 valve heads..I also changed out the cam for a Comp cams 287 thumper cam. It sounds awesome and a lot more horses too! I also got a set of old skool pie crust cheater slicks for it.

I'll be those 2.02 heads and cam was a VERY welcome change up to that engine. Thing has to breathe a lot better with those on it. I was looking at the specs on that cam and with a Lobe Separation angle of only 107 degrees there's no wonder they call it a "Thumpr". I'll bet it gave that engine quite the choppy/ aggressive idle.

Those heads really woke up the engine Joe and the cam is choppy as all hell. The throttle response and horse power is much much much better then before! Thanks guys

I really LOVE the look, nothing overdone but everything done just right. Pure envy here from an over-regulated country where bureaucracy tries to stifle creativity that runs on wheels...

I've never asked but where are you from M?

The U.K. as it is, for the moment; just south of the border with what will be The People's Republic of Haggisstan after Indyref 2 (and then we can go back to calling ourselves English - rather than British - without being thought of as right-wing extremists... ).
Cheers,
M
The good old days...
