Hi this one has been on the bench for a while now but getting closer to completion. Got this one as a glue bomb build up in a junkyard lot I got on ebay which the chassis and interior where virtually a mass of glue and plastic but bodywise was in really good shape along with the bumper and grill assembly and the bonus it was unpainted. In the same junk yard lot I also found an old build up of the stp pro stock firebird and decided to merge the two. Chassis wise its almost a perfect fit only had to remove about 2mm from the rear of the floor pan for it to fit and align up for the front end and front wheel arches. Rear end though fell short by a couple of mm so decided to add some evergreen to the front of the ladder bars to move the rear where I wanted it. Now I only have to cut the uni joints from the old tailshaft and make up a new one with evergreen rod. Will be using the pro stock motor but removing all the chrome and motor will be painted matt,semi-gloss and gloss black for a more menacing look. Have also started on the interior which I have been able to salvage and remove the oringinal door trims and modified them to fit the pro stock chassis, cleaned up the glue bomb roll cage and gave the cage a coat of duplicolor rattle can paint. Made a start on the electronics scratch built a few plug ends, wired them up and have run the wires along the cage. Finished of the dash and scratch built a steering column and supports as the originals where missing. Scratch built a cowl induction scoop and molded in the pro stock rear wing, primed and painted alpine blue all in duplicolor rattle can. Hope to have some updates soon, cheers and thanks for looking Steve
