Well, it was a wet and windy day, so what better thing to do than start a new build. The Foose Eldorado, i really don't like it as a convertible, but the soft top looks horrid too, so i am turning it into a hardtop.  First, glue the top on.  I really don't like the way the window opening finishes, so it's time to re-profile it, and smooth the convertible ribs out of the top aswell.  Now, out with a file..  Now, i run a bead around the outer edge, to fill in the join, and to also give me a chrome lip once it is done, which i also extended all the way to the front of the door.  And hit it with some primer to see how it looks..    Not bad for an afternoons work i think.. |

Thanks Mike and John, i think it is an improvement too. Got the engine done today, and started on the chassis, WOW! is that a sweet chassis, one of the best ones i have put together i reckon, i'm glad i have a few of these , as it will be a perfect donor for a pro touring...something    |

Thanks Joe, that's 2 days progress, including the interior i did last night,paint today, should be done inside a week. This is why i customize so much, otherwise it would cost me a fortune.  The motor is a 502, and very well done too, and so is the C5 rear suspension clip.  Interior needs a clean due to the flocking by the looks of these pics    |

Very nicely done Dale with the hardtop conversion gives this kit a total different appearance. Engine and chassis looks really crisp against the color of the floor pan. Nice choice on color combo of the interior and just the right amount of detailing. Looking forward to seeing some paint on the body work

Thanks Steve, wont be long, i just got the paint down, but need to let it harden before i do BMF. The body color is the same as the rocker covers. |

Is it viper mica from duplicolor Viper Mica is the base cote, also the floor pan, but then i have put a violet pearl nail polish over it all, just to change it up a bit. |

Thanks John, yeah, it is a great kit. superbly detailed, with a chassis that can be stolen for so many projects, and as Joe mentioned, a great engine too, the only drama is fitting the chassis to the body, but a friend steered me straight, you need to trim quite a bit off the inner wheel wells, which makes it possible to fit it all up with ease. I have 3 more, so look out.. |
