This was a big build for me with all the scratch building i needed to do. THE TRUCK Started with a resin cab, so had to find a chassis and make it fit, which included Z'ing it. Scratch built a tray, only using the rear fenders from a '32, which were widened, made a wood bed for it too. The hard part was making the whole interior for it, and fitting the 426 Hemi under the cab, and fitting a radiator in there too. Found a windscreen that needed some shaping, and tinted the rest red. Wheels are from the S'Cool bus kit, only with some wide street tyres on the rear instead of the slicks.
The BOAT This started as a F1 outboard race boat, but that was never going to cut it, so out with the saw and in with a monster HEMI.. which was from the S'Cool bus kit aswell, then had to fabricate the complete inlet manifold and scoop, then scratch built the Turbo's from various tubing and solder.
Paint is Candy Green and cream acrylic, red stripes on the boat are Finger Nail pin-striping..
Many pics......

Oh boy! thats a beaut, I love how the engine on the boat is so imposing, and the paint matches between the two

Looks awesome Dale all the detailing and scratch building would have done my head in. Also real nice job on the sunvisor, cool looking addition to what already looked cool

I was looking at this thread when you posted it and thought that I'd commented on it but...........................guess not!!! I cannot begin to tell you what an awesome set of builds this is Dale. The paint, the details and the sharpness in both of these builds is right up there with the best. I definitely commend your efforts on these two beautiful works of art.
