This is indicated by the chrome strip down the side. Never knew that. Also didn't remember that Max's car was red...I just chose that color because it looked good. Joe, that's a Ford 260.

Great build Sid!!! I picked up this kit a few months back and was kinda wondering about the fit and finish. Thanks for the heads-up. Always admired the real car growing up.

All but 633 Tigers are Ford 260 powered. Sunbeam belonged to the Roots Group. When Chrysler bought the Roots Group, they did not have a V-8 that would fit, so the car was discontinued rather than warranty Ford powertrains.
