They look the same (ext/avalanche) the avalanche is usually raw plastic on that section that sort of resembles a roll bar whereas the ext is painted. The Avalanche almost always fades out to grey with the marks from where it was molded becoming apparent.

that's where the got the caddy escalade was the avalanche but the first avalanche was ugly not as ugly as a Aztec then few were that bad like to mix one with a snap tahoe
