That looks like the Testors 1/72 scale Dauntless. Is that the one?

Yes I believe so, it's been years since I built it.

I've always loved the looks of these aircraft. Sleek and aggressive looking aircraft and even though they were quite slow, they proved to be a very effective force against the Japanese Imperial Navy. I've built the 1/48 scale Monogram kit twice. Once when I was a kid some 30 some-odd years ago and more recently in the past couple of years where I kit bashed a 1/48 scale Hasegawa SBD to create a more detailed Monogram version. I did build the Hasegawa kit back in 1998 but have since learned some valuable lessons and skills since then. I can't wait to tackle the Accurate Miniatures 1/48 Dauntless. That kit right there is BY FAR the best 1/48 Dauntless kit out there.
