Man those old Texans have been used extensively in not only flight training but also at air shows and TV series such as "Baa Baa Black Sheep" posing as a mocked up Japanese A6M2 Zero. Cool looking aircraft that also looks like the old SBD Dauntless Dive Bomber at first glance. Cool aircraft buddy.

Hey, the Dauntless will be posted soon. This is one of my favorites though, I really love the paint scheme. Main reason I bought it. Everyone should have one in the collection. It's a cheap kit, and looks great when done. Just wish I had room to work on some of my new plane kits. I really want the autogyro and Junkers airliner built, but my house is too small, so I have no room to put them once built

I really want the autogyro and Junkers airliner built, but my house is too small, so I have no room to put them once built Man I've always got a front seat when somebody starts talking about the Dauntless. Slow but they sure are a beautiful aircraft. I built the old Monogram kit just a few years ago and added a lot of details to it, but I also have an Accurate Miniatures SBD-4 in the stash. That Junkers airliner wouldn't be a Ju-52 would it?

It's the G38. Only two were ever built. I got it because it was an odd looking plane, but very cool in design. Four engines, box tail, and seating in the wings.

I love that Texan build! Those were indeed very well built aircraft because they were designed to be a trainer plane!! And very easy to fly for a shoulder winged plane! We have a Texan at our airport here locally that the owner still flies on a regular basis. He loves it, and takes it to air shows and etc.! I got to fly in it years ago at a "Wings and Wheels" fathers day weekend event that they have here every year. And there is no talking over that radial when it's running, I'll tell you that much!!
I have like 2 boxes full of aircraft kits yet that I'm quite sure I will never build!! Old age sucks!!
