I've run across a few older threads with missing photos, thanks to PB, that I'd like to see. Hopefully I won't irritate anybody by asking to either get the photos reposted or asking to have photos emailed to me. I've run across several early 60s MOPARs I'll be hoping to see, for sure.

Hey Steve, we lost a lot of pics when the PB garbage went down, i know i went through and re posted everything i could think of, but a few members have left since then, so some will never be re-birthed. If any are by me, just flick me a PM mate, and i will re-post the pics, and maybe do the same to some of the other members too, but just make sure they are still active here by clicking on their name and see how long since they were here.

I'll try and check the status of the member before I send a message. I'll probably forget to do that, but I guess it would just be my own wasted time.
Yeah, I just see the title of some threads and think, WOW, I 'd like to see that! Maybe I'll get a few to drool over.

If you use firefox as your web brouser, there is a photobucket embed fix that gets around the pb nightmare and will still show the pics. you can find it in the add ons menu

No, I use SeaMonkey. I kinda doubt I'd install a fix to my browser to temporarily get around a problem caused by a website. PhotoBucket screwed a lot of people and caused a LOT of problems on forums and other websites. That's why I try and steer clear of "freebie" type sites. It's too easy for a free service to suddenly just disappear, or as in this case, suddenly demand an extravagant amount of money to continue.
I'm also a serious amateur photographer and that's one of the things I learned early on when it comes to posting photos on the 'Net. I use Fotki right now. A year's worth of hosting is about the same price as one new kit. I figure that's pretty cheap.
