Well, i did not think i would do it, but i have put my 1966 VC Sedan up for sale, i have had it for 10+ years. I have been toying with the idea of selling it next year, to finance a 300C Chrysler.. Well, the perfect 300C just happened to pop up in the car yard across the road from my work, i have looked at it a couple of times, but only briefly, as i am not ready to buy one yet, but the other day, well, something changed, i had a GOOD look at it, 2007 model, 100k on the clock metallic black, and fully optioned, it just had to happen !!! It's done.., but now i HAVE TO sell it.. It will hurt for a while, but i will (must) get over it.. But i suppose, i still have the VC ute....

Nooooo. Basically trading for a 300. I hope it has the srt engine. It does sound like a bitter sweet situation. What’s the tag on your if you don’t mind me asking.

What do you mean by TAG? mate, and i will know what to look for when i pick it up. It does have the 5.7Hemi, our SRT version had the 6.1 in it, but they are twice the price still.

The price? I had. 2008 300 for a few years. Small engine. I sold it last year but I still wish I had gotten a bigger engine when I bought it.

So your selling a car that will only go up in price for something that will go down in price. Your selling a classic that if it breaks down you can work on and getting something with computers and sensors that if it breaks down - just call a tow truck and send it to mechanic for $100 an hour. Dont see the logic myself mate. I love the 300C but if I was given the choice of your VC or a 300C ... there would be no question! The VC in a heart beat.
But I suppose if your happy thats what matters. so enjoy your new ride. 2gwb921

I think it needs to go to somebody who will use it, as there are a few niggly little things going wrong with it due to lack of use... And i LOVE those 300's. And 4 rego's are gonna kill me..

come's a point when you just need a new horse Yeah mate, and my body is stuffed from climbing under and over the old cars all my life, shoulder, elbow, back, knees all destroyed. Besides, i'm looking at tripling my investment on what it owes me, pay for the 300C ,and have some coin left over. And i'll keep the ute, which will fetch way more if i ever went down that track.

I wonder what it would cost to ship to the states? I WANT THE VC!! It cost about 5k to import a car from the USA to here, but..... she's gone mate, another Mopar fan picked it up a few days ago, dropped all the cash i wanted, i tripled my money, now i can finish the ute properly. It was a sad day, but had to happen..

Congrats on selling it, Dale. A stressful process if it doesn’t sell quick. Looks like it was a good investment.

It went to a good home mate, i made sure of that, he has already fixed the front steering and suspension i have been going to fix for 4 years. I will see it, and he has offered my the chance to drive it if i want... don't know about that, it might cost me a lot of money.... But, i am happy with what i got for it, and what i purchased, and what i still have in the shed mate.
