Yes ok so its another one ! I keep getting in a slump with projects lately, icon_bored_zpscodtnzo5 but I can pick up a 64 Impala and I get inspired ! ! 84 So I figured id build another one ! Every kit I build I try and improve from the last one, so I'm gonna try and beat my last 64, but I'm keeping this a little more subtle, just more detailed ! Interior was first, lots of smoothing out join lines then a coat of matt white, I removed the door handles, winders etc and replaced em with chrome parts from the spares box. I removed the SS logo and added a transfer then added p/e ring around the door light ! Lots of delicate BMF and paint and it look like this !

That is looking cool Martin. Great color combo, i like the green/white. We all need slump busters, and quite often mine is a lowrider too, but mainly because i love to paint, and a lowrider, i can build pretty stock, and just enjoy the build.

That white metal-flake looks awesome. Just wondering if it is white paint as going through the duplicolor stand today noticed that they now have what they call clear effex, a glitter effect clear coat that I wouldnt mind trying out.

Thanks DeeCee ! And VCV, its actually clear flake nail varnish, thinned and sprayed ! I'm just trying future floor stuff to clear it, not too bad but spray cans are better ! Let me know how the clear effex works out, I'm interested in it myself ! !

Looks good mate. As for paint/glue..... i use both, but if i have some enamel (humbrol, testors etc) paint of close to the same color, i use that as my first choice, if you use the white glue, try get a base color down that will help with coverage,.

Looks fantastic Martin! I'm with Dale on the color base for white glue as that's what I tend to use.
