I'm in, need to fill in all this time somehow. Not sure if I'm using the ford body or not, I might have another idea for it if it fits but I'll keep it to myself just now. so far I've only put the engine together to check fit. And after reading poet's thread I realise I've got the induction the wrong way around

I would slowly file the glass away, less chance of it cracking. cheers mate, i'd rather not have to use my spare glass as I have another body to use it on. I dont have any chassis with my e36 kits but the other might be a tow car for this. A very simple curbside with no chassis and a couple of wire axles will do the job and wont take long since it is painted already

Very cool idea, I like it ! When cutting the glass try drilling a few tiny holes,corners first, then a line of dots ! If it cracks it should crack to the next hole ! Then cut it and file smooth ! !

Very nice, looking forward to seeing more of this. Have had success by heating an old blade till its red hot and guide it through smaller than needed then used files to take it out to where it needed to be
