Hey guys I guess I'll be the first to post for this month's MOTM. I'll be building the Revell 55 Jukebox Ford. I'm updating it a bit by adding a fabricated EFI induction system. I won't be using most of the decals as well. Other than that it will be mostly the kit.

I got one of these, great kit really nice ! The chassis is a bit flimsy, but it would be nice to see one finished as most people use everything except the 55 body, preferring to use another body !! But why ? That 55 is a lovely shape ! ! PS...I'm loosing the scoop, a normal bonnet with twin turbos for me ! !

Thanks guys. It is a nice kit LL but there are some minor issues with the it. The instructions for the engine isn't really for this kit, its kind of general for the kits with this platform. For one, it shows the distributor to be installed in the rear of the engine, when the pic on the box shows it in the front. Other little things exist as well and I'll post them as I go.

I'm kinda going out on a limb with this build. I've decided to make the front clip removable, and make it look like a one-piece glass unit. I sealed the hood, glued the bumper on, and grafted a Comp Resins turbo hump onto the existing scoop. I then trimmed the snorkel off, and filled in the indentations on the side.

Nice job on the front clip. Will be interested in how you get it to fit up to the body as I never had the nerve to do it before and have thought about doing it in the past.

Hey Guys. I worked on the body so I can get some paint on it, as the month is quickly dwindling. As you can see below, I installed magnets in the body, and also in the front clip to connect them. I also fabricated hinges and door ends to fill the gap between the interior pan and body. I hope to get it into paint this week.

Hey gang. I haven't done a whole lot this past week because mom got sick and had to go to the hospital. She's back home and better but I have to back my sisters up in doing a lot of things for her. Priorities. I did get paint on it before the crisis and just now have the time to post. I'm going to go over the red with dullcote, and hit the bumpers and trim with more black. I'm close with the engine but had to reconfigure the intake because the test fit showed that the nitrous rails made it was too wide to fit under the hump. Curses, foiled again! I hope to have that done by next weekend depending on how much I have to do for mom. Otherwise I've painted the chassis and roll bar parts. It's looking like mostly just assembly and some touch-up now.

Thanks guys for the model kudos and the well-wishes for mom. LL I like the matte look that's popular now. I don't think its big in our world though.

Got the engine completed (mostly) and in. Lots of little stuff to sand and paint in this kit! Got the intake refitted but it lost some of the detail I had on it. Next, the interior.

Well, I had a little solvent accident today and my dashboard was the unintended target. With the end so close and so little to do I'm truly bummed out because I won't finish. Good luck to the remaining entrants!!
