Yes I was wondering what is the best way to get glue off of a windshield I was wiping it down to clean it off and a paper towel hit the glue and drug it down. The side side of the windshield I've had pretty good luck with wet sanding the windshield starting in the 4000 grit and working to the 12000 grit ranges. After that break out the Novus #2 and polish it out to as good as you can then wash it in soapy water to remove the polish residue. After that dunk the windshield in Future (now called Pledge) floor polish and set it aside to dry overnight. It should turn out near perfect.

Just as a tip Dodge. I use only Aquadhere (PVA Glue) on all clear items these days, I use it for Windows, Lights, etc. Goes on white, dries clear, and any excess that you can see can be easily removed with a toothpick & cotton tip! Chrystal clear windows everytime.
