PB question !

So what's going to happen, bud, is that if you don't pay their fee (ransom) your picture will eventually error out on forums. Mine is fine also because I pay the small $2.99 monthly fee as I was using a ton of pictures for my eBay store. But now I don't but I read that October of next year, I think, is when they will demand the new fee from everyone. I posted the date in a thread I started about the same thing. Pictures will fall off threads even though PB will still have your pictures. Not sure if you'll still be able to download them at that point.

Yes, you will have to download from PB and then up to another site and those threads will eventually have lost your pics, unless you reload them. It sucks that so many people are being impacted by this.

I would strong,y encourage you, whether ok now or not, to make the switch over to Flickr or Fotki. I've started transferring my most recent projects over but it does take a bit of time. I just don't want to lose my pictures as I don't have backups.

Make the change before they catch you by surprise.

Hey lowlife, I have just gone to Flickr, from PB. Spend a little time on there getting used to the different site (from PB). I read the thread that DeeCee bumped yesterday (sorry, not sure who the OP was)-That is VERY helpful though, thank you. Best of luck mate.
