Been working on this for a little bit, thought I would show my progress. Used this Revell kit, Going for a mild custom look. Using Pegasus wheels, and the LS engine from Revell's HHR. Body primed, panel lines scribed and darkened. You can see the two colors I layered in the background, Engine and cover painted to match, Interior painted Krylon Satin Ivory and Brown Boots with champagne flocking for carpets, Body cleared with two brushed coats of Future Floor Wax which was a lot easier than polishing, And with a little chrome pen action, Now my dilemma, I don't think the decals are shiny enough to duplicate the 1:1 finish. I could either try to BMF or chrome pen it. I'm very afraid of messing up bad enough to have to repaint car. VERY tempted to leave body as is. It would be a little different, but don't think it would look too bad. OPINIONS?

It looks very good so far. Those DZ wheels will really set it off. What is the body color? Very pretty.

I think you have enough chrome on there mate, the big chrome body stripe, personally, i think looks wrong.
The paint job looks great too, and top choice on those Pegasus wheels, just try get it a bit lower.
