Few more bits done... The chassis is complete, engines done, (except wiring) and I'm now looking for steel wheels as the smashed car has all the hubcaps removed ! I'm not using the kits tyres as the whitewalls are too small, and will be changing the tyres to look punctured too. Think I might still lower her slightly as the pics of Christine destroyed look quite low ! Few pics and more soon.......

Thanks guys ! I thought the steelies would be red, but videos of Arnie finding the car smashed clearly show the wheels a steel colour ! So I went with this.... Also started removing trim, notice the front wing ?

And a quick mock up ! The body is a real squeeze on there, it will sit a little lower when glued down !

Latest on this is its in paint, finally ! After a primer coat, most of which I rubbed down, I've laid on 3 coats of Tamiya TS49, its quite a bright red but I wanted it slightly lighter than the interior, which was a rustoleum spray. Not sure of the name as I finished the can... Roof was painted rustoleum gloss white, should be fun now with the BMF as I can mess it up and it wont notice.... Also threw my fujimi garage together, I just made it simple and bland, and not copied from the film, as its a backdrop to the car which is the main focus ! Want this finished this week as its going on display at Buster Langs,a large car show here in the UK ! So more soon !

Thanks guys ! Yes, It took me a minute, looks Killer.... loudlaff Thanks tubbs, I happen to say 'show me' , and the @#$%& model is now mint, all that hard work for nothing ! ! nerwth_bf-devilsmiley And thanks Joe, yes I've read the book, very good too !! Did you realise the movie script was originally based more on the book, with George LeBay rotting in the passenger seat next to Arnie ! But American Werewolf in London ( another one of my favourites! ) was released and the film producers thought the corpse idea would be copying , so it was altered ! Great book, and I've lost count how many times I've watched the film !
