In case you haven't figured it out from the title, I'm going to mash up Christine ! (sorry DeeCee, no offense buddy!) Although I've missed the diorama build off, I'm hoping to stick Christine in a old Fujimi garage I had laying around too ! I'm sure all of you would have seen the film, well picture Buddy Repperton and the gang, when they beat Christine half to death, that's what I'm going for ! So shiny paint and lots of dents !! Lots to do but first I got to repair this old garage. You can see its got glue and gunge on it but the idea is to have it fairly drab and dark so the car stands out, then glue the car to the base and enclose the dio in its glass box ! Figuring out bits n bobs but progress soon, and I'm still planning on building a clean replica of the car one day, but for now, where's that hammer........ nerwth_bf-devilsmiley

Look forward to seeing that dodge ! Thanks guys.... ....Decided to start on the interior, as it needs to fit the body after it get bashed ! In the film you see Moochie cutting the seats up with a knife, and hammering the dash gauges and radio. I've added a few bits of chrome hanging off, and a missing arm rest etc. Also theres loads of broken glass and stuff to go in ! Still looking for interior colours but think this is ripped enough ?

Sneak peek as the interiors coming along. Ill have more updates in the week ! And yes, I know `the perpetrator defecated on the dashboard` but I'm not copying that particular piece ! !

That seat looks great, the cuts look real. Nice work on the dash too mate. I am actually looking forward to seeing what you can do with the rest of it.

Real nice job on the glass. Is it salt you are using for the loose glass?

Nice. Salt and rock salt works great for shattered glass. What did you use?

Good guess ! Its actually sugar, some crushed ! It looks more shiny, just a pain to glue down. I used white glue but left until it was jus tacky, otherwise the sugar melts !!

Thanks guys.... Well the engine is next, and its totally wrong ! Don't know what this engine is but its not a 58 Plymouths ! gaah Anyway I'm using it, I swapped the manifold for a twin carb set up like a 58, pity the dizzys at the front and not the back ! Then smashed the valve covers (chromed, like Arnies!) and detailed it a little. More to go but its getting there......

Nice mate, those rockers would not bend and dent that easy i would think.
Why not just move the Distributor to where you want it.?

Hmmm yes maybe your right Dale, I'm gonna flip the manifold I think, not sure bout the valve covers ? If you hit em with a sledge hammer ? ? Maybe I'll have a rethink, thanks for the advice mate !

OK new update ! The kit engine is basically correct, its a golden commando 350, Plymouth's high end option in 58, but comes with a single carb set up which is wrong ! The distributor is right though, fitted at the front ! So now I know what its supposed to look like I can try again, and thanks again Dale, your right about the valve covers !
