I like the painted tubs idea, with contrasting black tank, but maybe stainless straps...?? just thinking out loud mate.. But if you have a flocking the same blue, it would look cool on the floor and sides. Nice idea with the straps Dale gets another color in there which I think it needs

Thanks made the terminals out of evergreen rod, the cable piece being smaller rod than the terminal rod and drilled to size of the cable and battery terminal. Then i feed the cable through and leave enough to locate into the other piece, which I drill a hole in the side then super glue together. Then its just a matter running the drill through the terminal to remove any excess superglue and a quick sand and paint.

Worked on the interior last night and think I have it sorted now. Removed the trans tunnel from the interior of the chevelle and with slight mods fitted like a glove as it has a provision for a shifter which I am scratch building at the moment. Also adding a tacho with a scratch built shift light. Only in mock up at the moment now time to strip all the old paint and start fresh. Thinking of a light grey interior for something a bit different. Cheers and thanks for looking Steve

Hi have been waiting on some good weather to get a bit more painted so I have been working on one of my willys gassers to fill in the time and have posted some pics of it in the race cars section. Will have some updates hopefully tonight or tomorrow as the weather is perfect today. Cheers Steve

Some nice contrasting going on there Steve, color choice will really make this interior work with the blue body color mate.
