Wow interior looks great ! Have you considered painting the top half, or bottom, a different colour? Two tone would visually stretch the car, longer n lower ! ! two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

That's tricky.....Maybe run the wires directly into the rocker cover and apply a drop of super glue or white glue over the area to look like a boot and painting it flat black? Just an idea that I was thinking about myself.
I WISHED I had that motor!!! lol

OK, got the BMF done tonight, and a bit of a polish. Now, Aoshima really know how to do chrome.... normally i drop a bumper in the Windex (glass cleaner), for a couple of hours, and the chrome is gone. But after 24 hours, not a mark, maybe a little dull, but no removal, so into the Caustic soda mix, and it was gone in no time. Then i painted the centres in a lightened up mix of the chassis, just to make the color pop a bit more.

With the interior colors, I was thinking some gold BMF - but I like where you went with this. Hood scoop? Got a clear one anywhere?

Sweet! Lindberg kits are pretty crappy, from what I've seen. You've really made a silk purse out of a sow's ear. two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

Looking real nice Dale this is turning out to be one of my favorite builds of yours. Glad to see you just went with the bmf on the trim as I think it has enough trim to make the paint work pop, makes it look more luxurious/top end style of pro touring. Lot of people seem to bag the lindberg kits but have found these dodge kits really good to work with, with very little flash, excellent chrome and body detail. Only negative I would have is that their decals are thick. Just wondering what you thought of the kit

Only negative I would have is that their decals are thick. Just wondering what you thought of the kit Having only ever done 1 Lindberg kit before, and that was a dog of a kit, actually the only kit i threw back in the box after lots of custom work and paint, this one was a pleasant surprise, due to all the negative i have heard about the brand. I have found it to be a great kit, everything fits perfectly, like you say, no real flash, and well detailed, glass is very thick though, and looks like a big set of bi-focal's around the curved part of the front screen. Decals were stuffed though, ZERO glue, unfortunately i found out the hard way when i blew the badges off when going to clear over them with the AB.. ( And could not salvage them ) Thanks too Sid and Steve, i think i did enough chrome to give it that upper market feel, and take that Race car look away.. Pretty happy so far, especially as i have got the look i was after.. TOM:, cheers buddy, but no clear scoop, or any scoop, i went with the suggestion of giving the competition a sneak peak of what might be under that bonnet mate.. ( hood to you guys ) About another night i hope, and she will be done.

Looks great Dale. I had heard that the chrome on those wheels is tough. Caustic soda mix huh? Hmmmm. Might just need that tip later. Writing it down.

Very Nice! You are a wizard with the BMF. I liked those wheels like they were, didn't expect you to de-chrome them but it worked. Goes well with the overall look of the car.
