Thanks fellas. I was going to work on the Arado this morning but am wanting to finish up the injector stacks and then start on the exhaust (which I'll be doing the same way as the injector stacks). This part is very time consuming. Looks like I owe the Arado a day back.

I got all the sanding done on the inside of the roofline and decided to add a little individuality to the body. The kit actually comes with some pretty cool and fun decals.

I really like that they look like if they're just floating on top of the gold.

Thanks guys. So far so good on the OOB build..................and not that good for the modified build in regards to paint. The Mystic Teal Metallic worked GREAT with the Tamiya primer and LOUSY with the putty that I used to smooth all the seams and joints out with. Other than the seam work it all worked good. I'll be switching colors to a more safe Testors color and use the MTM on another build that doesn't require any body work. A shot of the Star Spangled Blue that we'll be going with....

Thanks fellas. I did have a bit of a breakthrough today in reference to paint. I talked to a buddy of mine in the dealership realm that I used to work with about 15 years ago. Seems like I'll be able to get my hands on some of the new water based paint from the body shop in the Mystic Teal Metallic shade. egyptian

Ok folks. I'm going to call the motor done. Had to do a small amount of tweaking to get the stacks to sit in the right place but I think we've got 'er down. I also managed to mount that replacement fuel cell to replace that ridiculous looking one that the kit had. I know it's kind of a cartoonish kit and all but that fuel cell was a little over the top for me. I got the exhaust pipes painted with Alclad and the ends have been drilled out to match the intake tubes. Those exhaust pipes were a BEAR to get all lined up and keep straight.

I didn't realise how tight the fir was on these until seeing the engine fitted, no wonder the long one has so little room

I stretched the opening in the floor as well on the long version. As for progress on the stretched build BTW, I did pick up my enamel based Mystic Teal Metallic from my buddy in the auto body shop today.

Thanks Tom!
Well I got the body test fitted once more after shooting a coat of gloss on it yesterday. It's very hard to capture it photos but this thing looks like a glass body. I've VERY happy with the outcome of the finish so far.
