My next will be a rebuild I did a several years ago and done a sloppy job on it. I kept looking at it no my shelf over the years and saying to myself, man this car needs to be rebuilt from scratch soon lol... I didn't take pictures before... it's molded in black and I didn't paint the breaking down of the car. sorry about that...

Are you going to use the Potvin blower setup this engine has?

Are you going to use the Potvin blower setup this engine has? There is a opening available in the hood to cut out for a blower, that would be a nice street addition, I'm planning to remove the chrome on some parts of the engine....

I thought I would try re-chroming the body parts myself using Alclad II gloss black base and Chrome lacquer... The original chrome was in very bad shape.

I'm not even sure the Blower available with new engine kit would actually stick thru the hood opening if cut out.... thinking-hard-smiley-emoticon

If you can get new kit at a reasonable price it's a nice kit to build. I've seen this kit "USED" on ebay. I'm gonna have to build me a Mopar after this one..

They look good though.

It's not very often i throw my arms in the air, but this kit made me do it!! Nothing fitted, so i turned into my Busted 57, all smashed up version.
I hope you can do something with it mate.

Come to think of it, that's probably why I didn't finish mine. But that was 25 years ago and I wasn't as comfortable with my modeling skills either. Believe me, I think I've dealt with more difficult models in recent times. lol

That's not bad at all Steve. It only gets better with practice. You'll blow yourself away with the results you'll achieve the more experienced you get with this stuff.
