I started these cars 4 four years ago and added three in the last year or so one of them being a restoration project I got from a friend the total is nine now The three primed ones are for the Dodge side of my Mopar Super Stock team that go with my L700 transporters and trailers these cars were the first ones I started The pics end where I had stopped and the progress where I was exactly two years ago when I packed them all up and moved them three times before finally unpacking all of them a week ago or so

Here's where I started after all of them being packed up for two years and I unpacked them all a week a go or so The bodies all have a chassis that is painted with the front suspension installed, they each have their own interior tub painted and glued together, perspective firewall according to engine choice (Hemi or 440) interior tub chosen or custom built according to application,engine/trans combo assemblies started for their perspective cars (Hemi/4Speed,Hemi/727,440/4Speed or 440/727) There will be separate posts for the custom engine comebos not offered in the original versions of these kits along with the different interior tubs not offered either like 4 speed with rear seat t

I got out almost all the engine parts the other night, figured that I'd build them all and save the rest for spares and diorama pieces So far I've got all the halves glued together Some of the engines that I'm doing are ones that Revell didn't do like the Hemi/727 and the 440/833 4 speed trans The Hemi/727 build uses the 440/727 engine halves with the deck opened up to allow the locating flats cast to the heads to line up, the 440/833 uses the leftover Hemi/4 speed halves I'll finish up assemblies tomorrow night

Here's part of the ease of the assembly line. It makes it easier to store multiples of the same model especially when you're limited on space too This is twelve cars minus glass, chrome, instructions and decals which are all kept in a Hemi Dart box The bodies are packed in shoe boxes

cool. I have enough trouble working on one model at a time ,let alone that many two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon It's not really much different than doing only one. This is my second go at the assembly line process I paint almost all the bottom plates at the same time, then front suspension, interior tubs etc Once the engines are done I will tack them to the chassis at this point the body, interior tub, chassis and engine don't get mixed with others Last night I installed 9 water pump/timing cover assemblies,6 transmission pans,5 intakes, painted most or detailed them with paint. I kinda enjoy doing them like that

Here's basically the pecking order so to speak or what the cars are going to be These two are the only vinyl top bodies that I have presently. They will be 68' model and matching in every way except for the transmission and one car lacking console and rear shelf speakers 440/727 in the blue one and 440/4 Speed in the other The car to the left will be a 69'440/727 The car to the right will be a 68' 440/727 street brawler These two are part of my Mopar Super Stock race team which will all be 68's The car on the left is a 440/4 Speed. the car to the right is a Hemi/727 The car to the left is another team car, it is a Hemi/4 Speed The car in the middle is the tubbed post car 68' Hemi/ The car on the right is a 68 Hemi/727 car done in stock looking street trim This car will get a Street Hemi intake and carbs along with a standard GTS hood

DeeCee the further they get completed the less chaotic it gets. When they sit on the table like this in front of me I deal the parts out cards in a card game and I paint them like these assemblies here
