Good choice of color Dennis. I've always been a fan of your engine detailing. No exception on this one.

looking good Denis. If you're losing your eyesight, then I hate to see what you can do with full vision?

I don't know if I can finish this in time. When I was trying to test fit the two frame components together the engine didn't fit right and was pretty much destroyed in the process. I don't think I can complete another engine in time and it will have to be a complete engine build up. I am having a lot of trouble with depression and my eyes and other things I don't need to get into. I feel like I'm losing my skills, but I think that is just the depression, although that's not a small thing to anyone who has it, and this thing with my eyes is driving me nuts. I'm not trying to make excuses, I'm just trying to talk to the only people I have to talk to with a common interest. I'm going to try to come up with a fix and finish in time, I'm just letting you know I might not make it.

Sorry to hear of all the hassles you have going on and also the problems with the build. Just a suggestion what if you just throw a stock motor into it will save time on detailing and modifying something else, in that way you will still be able to finish it and fell better about it. Cheers Steve

Cheers Steve I was thinking along the same lines. I hate the stock motor but that may be all I have left. It's a good clean build so far but it won't be competitive. I will try the stock motor but I still don't know if I can get it done in time. I have to keep modeling It's all I've got. My wife and I both in wheelchairs and modeling is all I have left. It always gets better if you don't quit and I really believe that. Losing that pretty engine seemed like the build was just ruined and it hit me hard. Made me feel like hammered (Word Censored By Forum Administrator). Going down doesn't bother me. I always get up. Right now it just seems harder to get up than it used to. Thanks for being there Steve.

Stick with it big D , even if you glue the bonnet down with no engine it will be great to see it finished. Take a break then cheat, treat yourself to a BIG scale car !! I really hope things improve for you soon, take care of yourself, and your wife, and I'm sure your be back soon with some more top builds....
